Family Practice is a series comprised of six pilots,
all shot, edited and directed by Eric Norcross.
All but two episodes were written by Jan Major, the
remaining two (The Plumbing Episode & Two If By
Sea) were written by Eric.
These six pilots were shot in June, July, August
and September of 2009, at a real doctor's office in
Bay Shore, Long Island.
The original concept came from actor Robert
Youngren when he approached Eric and Jan about
shooting a pilot based loosely on the concept of a
"harebrained doctor who operates his practice a
little unprofessionally".
These six pilots are very dear to the director and the
writer, as well as the many actors that performed
valiantly in the days that this mini-series was in
production.
