43 DEGREES NORTH is an independent film that deals with grief and loss. It was produced in 2023, with post-production in 2024.
The film was shot entirely in the State of Maine, with primary filming locations on four of the islands of Casco Bay.
We allowed each participating island community to preview the full movie, free of charge, in August of 2024. The preview screening dates were as follows:
08/09 - Cliff Island Community Hall
08/16 - The Town of Long Island, Learning Center
08/17 - Peaks Island Lions Club
08/24 - Chebeague Island Community Hall
Our official premiere was on 09/06 at the City Theater in Biddeford, Maine.
While grieving the loss of his late wife, a world-renowned author goes into seclusion on an island in the Gulf of Maine. In his isolation, he befriends a strange entity that may not be of this world.
