REVIEWS
Over the years, my work has been reviewed be a number of online film-centric publications and blogs. Most of them are good reviews, some indifferent, and a few downright nasty. I've always posted them here in a list, along with URL links.
As of late, I've had a change of policy in this regard. I do not seek out reviews of my work, nor will I share them as I do not find my art practice benefits from such criticism.
It is my opinion, which has been backed my extensive academic research, that there is no such thing as constructive criticism. With that said, most criticism, especially as it concerns film and art, are not constructive at all and merely the opinions of individuals who seriously lack the art-literacy that the medium of cinema demands. I am working to change the landscape of film criticism to be more reflective than reactive, and embrace academic rigor in the way movies are discussed.
